ACS
The program will be resumed in 2026 after the Ministry of Science and Higher Education awards funding for 2026 and a new agreement with ACS for 2026-2028 is concluded, and will cover articles for publication in 2026. The number of articles in 2026 will be approximately 470, but depends on the final list of participants and the cost of the license.
The ACS 2023-2025 open access publishing program under the ACS 2023-2025 Consortium License has been in operation since January 2025 with a pool of 437 articles for 2025.
The program covers 90 journals published by the ACS American Chemical Society, including 71 hybrid journals and 19 open access journals.

The program covers all article types except: Additions and Corrections, Expressions of Concern, Retraction, In This Issue, Introducing our Authors. The program allows open publication under a CC-BY license at no charge to authors of a certain number of articles accepted for publication in the current year (note: the “Manuscript Acceptance Date” sometimes referred to as “Revised” in articles is the deciding factor).
If an author wishes to take advantage of the open publishing program, he or she should consult the procedure for ordering publication, which is available at WBN (ICM UW)
