Online journals

The Virtual Library of Science (WBN-Wirtualna Biblioteka Nauki) is a program for purchasing and providing access to the world’s knowledge resources in the form of electronic journals, books and databases for Polish academic and scientific institutions.

The library of the Nencki Institute is a participant in the Virtual Library of Science (WBN) of the ICM UW and under the national license has access to, among others:

• resources of Elsevier, Springer and Wiley publishers
• Scopus and Web of Science (Clarivate) databases
• Nature and Science journals
  

Additionally, the Nencki Institute Library oversees access to journals purchased under consortium licenses and annual subscriptions.
